Mr. Sudhir Sethi is Managing General Partner of IDG Ventures India, a US$150 Million early-stage technology venture capital fund headquartered in Bangalore with an office in Mumbai, India. IDG Ventures India invests across the country in all areas of technology and technology enabled services including Software products and services, Medical devices, Internet, Mobile VAS, Energy and Clean Tech, Engineering and Manufacturing.

Sudhir specializes in investing in young Indian technology companies including Seed investments and helping them grow rapidly globally.  In his 26 years of career he has worked earlier in various operational positions in HCL, Wipro and Infotech Enterprises. Sudhir as head of Walden International India invested as seed investor in Mindtree Consulting and served on its Board for the first four years.

In addition to leading IDG Ventures India, Sudhir serves on the Executive Committee of Indian Venture Capital Association, on the Board of UTI Ventures / Accent Capital $ 350 million PE fund and the Nasscom Regional Council. He also serves on the Board of Emploi Globale, a global executive search firm.

In 2001, Sudhir was recognized by Red Herring as one of the leading venture capitalists in the country. He has been named among the Top Ten IT Professional by Dataquest. Sudhir also served on the Investment Committee of UTI Ventures for four years, on Advisory Board of Westbridge Capital (now Sequoia Capital) and on the Board of Advisors at N. S. Raghavan Center for Entrepreneurship, IIM Bangalore

Sudhir holds B.Tech in Engineering and an MBA Degree from FMS, Delhi.
